Yesterday’s ball-kid training was the toughest of them all, both physically and emotionally.
The training session saw all of our ball-kids get pushed to their cardiovascular limits by participating in the bleep test, followed by the parents and coaches also challenging themselves! The training also consisted of other tests focussing on coordination, speed and urgency, the key factors to being a successful ball-kid. Once the results had been collected, we unfortunately had to make the difficult choice of selecting our 120 ball-kids. To all of our successful candidates, we look forward to seeing you at our programs throughout the year and at the tournaments itself. Please do not be disheartened and be sure to re-apply next year! To all of our chosen DDF Ball-kids for 2016, congratulations but keep up the good work and be punctual for the next session.
