Josh Baasha

Coach Josh has been passionate about tennis since childhood, starting at six and developing his game through county tennis for Bucks. After returning to the sport at 16, he quickly moved into coaching and hasn’t looked back since. He began his coaching career at Halton Tennis Centre at 17, working with players of all ages and abilities. Josh specialises in developing beginners and intermediate players, helping them build confidence, improve technique, and achieve their goals. He also has valuable experience in disability tennis, coaching visually impaired players and children with learning disabilities. In 2023, Josh was the assistant county coach for the Bucks U14 Boys team, who placed 3rd at the UK Nationals. Now part of the CF Tennis Academy team, Josh is based at GEMS Wellington Academy – Silicon Oasis and GEMS Wellington International School – Al Sufouh, where he brings his inclusive, player-first approach to every session.
