The Adidas Junior Masters Series events are nearing the Final stages and valuable points wear up for grabs on a stunning day at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium this Friday.

The 14 and under event started the day with some incredible tennis played throughout. Pranav Sadhvani proved too strong for the top half of the draw taking out the highly fancied Aman Anwar 6/3 in the semi finals. In the bottom half Anurag Reddy had less trouble negotiating his way through to the final with a 6/1 win over the young Carlos Nau. The final saw an incredible match between these 2 eventually reaching a tiebreak with Anurag taking the win 6/5 (7/4).

The girls saw the usual finals rivalry of Rosaleen Aliousef take on Rene Acena after both players comfortably came through the draws with semi final wins against Andra Sirbu (6/0) and Alexandra Tsalidis (6/1) respectively. Rosaleen came out on top of the final this time around winning 6/3 which may see her replacing Rene as Number 1 ranked player as we move into the final month of the tournament season.

The 18 and under girls saw the usual suspects of Bea Acena and Lojaine Adel reach the finals following 2 unfortunate walkovers from opposition in the semis. In a predictably close match it was Bea who managed to pull through and take the win 6/4 and cement her Number 1 ranking.

Finally the most competitive draw of the day saw Ziad Yezbeck take on Jonathan Harel in the top half of the draw whilst Bijan Moinzedah met Dagi Theodros in the bottom half. A comfortable 6/1 win for Dagi saw him through to meet Jonny in the final following the latters 6/3 win over Ziad. Dagi (6/1) continued his dominating play into the final match showing some outstanding form with Paris in all players sights.

Next week sees the 8 and under Red, 9 and under Orange and the incredibly popular 18 and under 3 set events so don’t miss out on rankings points over this Spring Break!
